Up for sale is a stunning Westside Model Co. HO Scale Brass Pennsylvania Q-2 Duplex. The Q-2 was the PRR's most powerful reciprocating steam locomotive, and this brass import captures the massive, industrial aesthetic of the "Standard Railroad of the World" perfectly.

Mechanical Condition: This engine is "layout ready" and has been professionally prepped for sale:

  • Freshly Serviced: The drive mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated.

  • Tested: Performance tested on a DC loop; the locomotive runs well with smooth motion across the articulated frame.

  • Collector Note: Unlike many "shelf queen" brass models, this one is a proven runner.

Physical Condition & Detail:

  • Finish: Beautiful clean brass with sharp detailing on the boiler piping and cylinders.
