Up for sale is a classic Postwar O-gauge Lionel 2353 Santa Fe F3 ABA Diesel Locomotive Set. This impressive three-piece consist features the iconic Warbonnet paint scheme and the correct molded plastic roof vents characteristic of the mid-1950s production run.

The set includes two A-units (one powered, one dummy) and the matching mid-train B-unit, making a complete, layout-ready ABA lashup.

Condition & Operational Notes

Operation: Bench-tested and Runs Great! The powered unit is responsive, handles forward/neutral/reverse tracking smoothly, and has a strong motor.
Cosmetics: The set shows moderate, honest play wear consistent with a well-loved postwar classic. There are typical paint scuffs, scratches, and some wear along the silver and red body lines. The yellow nose graphics show typical aging and minor cracking but still present well.
Chassis & Battery Compartment: The underbellies are intact with clean die-cast trucks. One A-unit includes the battery door with a relatively clean compartment plate, though the internal horn circuit is untested.
Couplers & Trucks: Equipped with sturdy die-cast metal trucks and operating couplers. Front silver aprons show minor scraping and paint wear from normal track use.
