Up for sale is an authentic Postwar O-gauge Lionel 2243 Santa Fe F3 Diesel Locomotive AB Pair. This classic set features the famous red, silver, and yellow Warbonnet livery and consists of one Powered A-unit and one matching blind Dummy B-unit.

Collector Note on Number Boards: Both the A and B units feature the completely correct, original 2243 shell configuration. However, the illuminated number board inserts on the cab read 2343. It is priced perfectly for an operator who wants a beautiful, high-performing, authentic postwar set on their layout without paying a premium textbook price!

• Operation: Bench-tested and Runs Great! The powered unit's motor pulls strongly and smoothly, and the internal e-unit cycles properly through forward, neutral, and reverse.

• Cosmetics: Both units are in honest, pre-owned Good condition. The factory shells show typical signs of play wear, including light surface scratches, minor paint scuffs, and small wear spots along the silver and red color separations. The yellow nose graphic shows typical age-wear but still presents excellently on the tracks.

• Chassis & Underbelly: Solid frame with black-painted fuel tank/chassis components. The battery compartment door on the underside of the powered A-unit is intact.

• Trucks & Couplers: Equipped with dependable die-cast trucks and operating couplers. The silver front pilot apron shows minor edge scuffing from normal layout operation.
