Description

Up for sale is a classic VH Scale Models CNR 4-8-2 U-1-d Mountain. Built by the legendary Korean builder Samhongsa in 1981, this locomotive is a "beast" of a puller with significant weight and a high-quality can motor.

Mechanical Condition

  • Operation: Pro-tested and an Excellent Runner. It is smooth across the speed range with minimal motor noise.

  • Maintenance: Recently cleaned and lubed.

  • Lighting: Includes factory-installed headlight.

Cosmetic Condition

  • General: Pre-owned in great condition with a light, natural brass patina.

  • Detail Note: Please note that two front brake valves (located between drivers 3 and 4) have broken off on both sides.

  • Included Parts: One of the broken valves is included in the spare parts bag with the side-rod screws. This is a relatively straightforward solder or adhesive repair for an experienced brass modeler.
