Up for sale is a classic, vintage HO Scale Brass Electro-Motive Division (EMD) F3 A-B diesel locomotive set manufactured in Japan by Tenshodo. Finished in the iconic Great Northern "Empire Builder" orange and pullman green scheme, this heavy brass set features road number #410 on the cab sides and nose emblem.

Item Condition & Visual Breakdown:

• Cosmetic Condition: Good / Operator Grade Condition. The set features an older paint job that shows honest layout wear, minor paint chips, and light surface aging/scuffs along the roofs and flanks typical of vintage brass running models. The iconic Great Northern mountain goat nose decal is intact.

• Mechanical Status: Equipped with Tenshodo’s classic, robust open-frame motor and heavy spur-gear undercarriage drive system. The wheels show some moderate runtime/oxidation typical of an operating engine, but the trucks and pick-ups are structurally solid.

• Missing Items: No original box or packaging included. The headlight lens is currently missing/open on the nose of the A-unit —an easy fix or DCC/LED conversion candidate for the bench.
