Product Description:

Up for sale is a beautiful HO Scale Brass Santa Fe (AT&SF) "825" Class 0-8-0 Switcher Steam Locomotive and Tender. This exquisite model was built in Korea by the legendary manufacturer Samhongsa and imported by Sunset Models.

Presented in its unpainted, factory-fresh brass finish, this model highlights spectacular rivet work, intricate backhead details in the cab, and crisp piping throughout.

Condition Highlights:

• Cosmetics: Excellent condition. The brass body is exceptionally clean with a bright, uniform finish and no signs of tarnish or damage. All detail parts, including handrails, steps, and cab sunshades, are straight and structurally sound (IMG_8443.jpg, IMG_8450.jpg).

• Underbody & Mechanicals: As shown in the undercarriage view (IMG_8447.jpg), the driver rims, side rods, and bottom plate are pristine. The gearbox and gear assembly show virtually no track wear, and the engine is stamped "Samhongsa Korea" directly on the underframe.

• Packaging & Foam: Comes complete in its original Sunset Models box with custom-fit gray foam inserts and protective plastic wraps (IMG_8451.jpg). The foam is intact and firm, providing secure storage. A small parts packet is also included inside the box. The box label is clean, listing the importer’s historical Saratoga, CA address (IMG_8443.jpg).
