Product Description:

Up for sale is an exceptional HO Scale Brass Chesapeake & Ohio Class K-4 2-8-4 "Kanawha" Steam Locomotive and Tender. This highly collectible model was manufactured in Japan by Atlas Industries, Inc. for United Scale Models and imported exclusively by Pacific Fast Mail (PFM).

The model comes in its classic unpainted factory brass finish, allowing its beautiful craftsmanship, intricate piping, and robust construction to take center stage.

Condition Highlights:

  • Cosmetics: Excellent condition. The brass displays a beautiful, even patina with very minimal signs of handling. All delicate details, handrails, and ladders are straight and intact.

  • Underbody: As seen in IMG_8436.jpg, the undercarriage, driver rims, and pickup assemblies are remarkably clean, showing little to no track runtime.

  • Packaging & Documentation: Includes the original PFM/United blue box, complete with the custom-cut foam insert and protective plastic wraps (shown in IMG_8427.jpg). Also includes original PFM paperwork, including the "HO" 6-Way Coupler Pocket installation guide and the PFM guarantee slip (pictured in IMG_8427.jpg). The box end label is crisp and completely legible, explicitly detailing the model's lineage (IMG_8440.jpg).
