Up for sale is a classic Vintage Lionel Postwar #6220 Santa Fe (A.T. & S.F.) NW2 Diesel Switcher Locomotive.

Manufactured between 1949 and 1950, this classic postwar switcher features a heavy die-cast metal frame, nickel handrails, dual operating coil couplers, directional marker jewels, and the internal ringing bell mechanism.

Condition Details & Inspection:

• Mechanical & Testing: Fully tested and running strong. The 3-position E-unit cycles properly between forward, neutral, and reverse. Bell mechanism and coil couplers function as designed.

• Cosmetics: In excellent physical condition for its age. The black shell is clean with intact roof stacks, bell ornament, roof radiator wheel, and marker lights.

• Lettering & Decals: White "A.T. & S.F." side lettering and cab numbers ("6220") are crisp and clean. The Santa Fe cross logo on the sides is in great shape.

• Underside & Frame: Clean die-cast base and motor housing with minor paint wear on the die-cast end steps consistent with normal operational use.
