Up for sale is a classic Vintage Lionel Postwar #2332 Pennsylvania Railroad GG1 Electric Locomotive.

Produced between 1947 and 1950, this heavy die-cast metal locomotive is iconic for its dark Brunswick Green finish, gold pin striping, dual pantographs, and single-motor drive mechanism.

Condition Details & Inspection:

• Mechanical & Testing: Fully tested and operational. The 3-position E-unit cycles properly through forward, neutral, and reverse. Motor runs well and wheel pick-ups operate smoothly.

• Cosmetics & Finish: Deep Brunswick Green die-cast body is solid with no cracks, structural damage, or rust. Show light, expected paint chips/nicks along high-wear edges consistent with age and handling.

• Stripes & Decals: Gold 5-stripe decals, red PRR keystone logos, "PENNSYLVANIA" side lettering, and cab numbers ("2332") are visible. As noted in the photos, there is typical wear and flaking along portions of the stripe decals.

• Pantographs & Details: Dual roof-mounted pantographs are complete, spring-loaded, and functional. End markers, headlights, and couplers are intact.
