Up for sale is a classic 3-car passenger consist in the iconic Northern Pacific "two-tone green" paint scheme. These vintage Gilbert cars are a great addition to any transition-era HO layout.
Set Includes:

Combine Car: Features a Knuckle Coupler on the lead end (perfect for mating with modern locomotives) and a Horn Hook coupler on the rear.

Passenger Coach: Features Horn Hook couplers on both ends.

Observation Car: Features a Horn Hook coupler on the lead end. Prototypically, the rear of this car has no coupler, allowing for a clean finish to the end of your train.
Condition Highlights:

Exterior: The cars are in Great/Very Good vintage condition. The Northern Pacific lettering and stripes are mostly intact, though there is light surface wear consistent with age.

Mechanical: The wheel sets and trucks are in good working order.

Note on Couplers: This set features a mix of one knuckle coupler and three horn hooks (X2F). Please see photos for a clear look at the configurations.
