The Lionel No. 410 Billboard Blinker is a classic postwar accessory produced between 1956 and 1958. Designed to enhance the No. 310 Billboard Set, it features a blinking light mechanism that draws attention to the billboard display. The blinking effect is achieved through a thermal switch, allowing the light to blink on and off. An adjusting screw on the back side controls the rate of blinking. The unit utilizes a No. 51 (L51) 6-8 volt bayonet lamp, and its lamp housing and bracket were sourced from the No. 70 Yard Light. Constructed entirely out of black sheet and cast metal, the Billboard Blinker measures 4-5/8 inches long, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 5 inches high.
